VS Code · Cursor extension

Ship-grade AI, inside your editor.

IronFlyer brings the gates, reviewable patches, and live cost of the full engine into VS Code and Cursor. The agent proposes changes. You approve them. Nothing ships until the checks pass.

Two clicks to a gated agent

Same extension, both editors. Pick your install path and sign in to connect it to the engine.
VS Code

Install from the Visual Studio Marketplace, or run the command in your terminal. The IronFlyer panel appears in the sidebar after a reload.

Open in Marketplace

Cursor and VSCodium

Cursor and VSCodium read from Open VSX. Install from the registry, or search IronFlyer in the Extensions view. The .vsix from the release also drops straight in.

Open in Open VSX

In Cursor: Extensions, then search IronFlyer.

What it does

The engine’s discipline, where you write code

Every panel maps to a real part of the IronFlyer engine. No demo data, no mock previews.
Gates that block

The Finisher Gates panel runs build, security, and quality checks on every change. A gate that fails stops the work before it ships, and you see exactly which one and why.

Patches you review

The agent never writes files behind your back. Each edit lands as a patch in the Patches panel and opens in the native VS Code diff. Approve it or send it back.

Cost you can see

ProfitGuard meters every paid model call against your prepaid wallet. The budget stays on screen while the agent works, so no run surprises you.

Real workspace builds

Work runs in a real Linux workspace, not a mock. The agent installs, builds, and runs your project the way your machine does.

Live preview inside the editor

The Live Preview panel pulls the running project from the workspace runtime. Watch the app take shape next to your code without switching windows.

Chat and audit trees

Drive the agent from the chat panel. The Gates and Audit trees keep a record of every verdict and action, so you can trace what happened after the fact.

How it works

From prompt to reviewed change

Three steps, all inside the editor. You stay in control of what ships.

01

Install and sign in

Add the extension from the Marketplace or Open VSX, then run IronFlyer: Sign In to connect the panel to your account and the engine.

02

Chat and build

Describe the change in the chat panel. The agent proposes patches, runs the Finisher gates, and builds in a real workspace while the cost stays in view.

03

Review and ship

Read each patch in the diff, watch the gates turn green, and ship when the work passes. Nothing leaves the editor until you approve it.

Bring the gates to your editor.

Install once, sign in, and let the agent build against real checks. It is free to add and works the same in VS Code and Cursor.
